🧾 Creating Your First Dispute
After connecting your credit monitoring and importing your first credit report, you’re now ready to create your first dispute in DisputeTitan.
Step 1: Visit the Credit Report Tab
Once your report is imported, go to the Credit Report tab.
Here you’ll see a list of negative accounts from your report.
Each account displays:
- Account name and type
- Balance and payment history
- Detected errors or inconsistencies
At the bottom of each account card, you’ll notice a “Dispute Now” button.
Step 2: Open the Dispute Wizard
Click Dispute Now to open the Dispute Wizard — your step-by-step tool for creating disputes.
Within the wizard, you can:
- Select a dispute reason (e.g., inaccurate information, duplicate account, wrong balance)
- Choose from predefined dispute options
- Review details before generating your letter
Step 3: Generate & Optimize Your Letter
After choosing your dispute option, click Generate.
You can enhance your letter using AI optimization, which helps make your dispute clear, professional, and effective.
The AI system can:
- Reword for clarity and tone
- Ensure compliance with dispute standards
- Improve the chance of a successful outcome
Step 4: Track Your Disputes
Once your dispute is generated, it will appear in the Dispute Tracker.
From here, you can:
- Monitor dispute status
- Download letters
- Manage follow-ups and updates
This makes it easy to stay organized throughout the credit repair process.
